At home warmup for GYM M.E.?

    Hello, I’m currently on week 16 of the 24 week Mountaineering Plan and I plan to do the Gym M.E. workouts to spare myself a 2h drive and dealing with weird May weather here in Italy. Since I don’t have a treadmill at home, I was wondering what kind of warmup would you recommend to do in order to get my HR in Z3 for the M.E. workout?

    Can you run outside? I’ve always done the gym ME warmups as a regular road run.

    Alex:

    Like Leonard suggested, running outside for 10 minutes should do the trick.   Another option would be a vigorous 10 minute core routine.
