    Hello,

I am close to wrapping up the 24-week mountaineering training plan for my climb at the end of June. I have another climb planned for end of August and I’m wondering if you have any suggestions for the best way to maintain my training leading up to the 2nd event. Coincidentally there are enough weeks between them to complete 2 more 4-week training cycles. Would this be a good approach?

Week 24: Taper for Event #1
    Week 25: Recovery
    Week 26, 27, 28: ME
    Week 29: Recovery
    Week 30, 31, 32: ME
Week 33: Taper for Event #2

Or should I do something different during weeks 26, 27, and 28? E.g., go back to the “max strength” phase, or base-building…?

    Thank you!
    -Erika.
