    Thanks Everyone.

On a basic level can we then say that frequency is more important than  workout duration when working in zone 2?  ie: it would be better to get in an hour workout each day for two days than one 2 hour workout on only one of the two days?

    Hello

I was wondering the same thing as i want to purchase a plan.  Ive completed a couple training groups with UA in the past but want to purchase a more long term plan from EE.  I looked through some sample weeks of the Military Plan and the 24-week Mountaineering plan on the Training Peaks site and they do differ somewhat, although seem similar in overall methodology and structure.

Im wondering what does the Military Plan cover that the Mountaineering plan does not and vice versa?   I would have thought that long days with a pack on, hiking up mountains is what military does anyway?

It seems like the Mountaineering plan starts almost immediately with steep hiking with weight(i do have close access to steep terrain) where the military starts with running.

After a recent multi-day trip with a heavy pack up steep hills and boulders i want to improve my muscular endurance and overall durability and wondering which plan would work best.(im now leaning towards the Mountaineering.)

    Thanks

    Jeremy
