I love acquiring new gear as much as the next person but my dirtbag roots have me asking if I can accomplish the workouts effectively — and/or without introducing any problems — using a weighted pack. My training is targeting ski touring.
What should I be aware of when considering utilizing one of my many packs in the ol’ gear closet, rather than a weighted vest?
