    The Evoke gym-based ME programming introduces a weighted vest at WO progression #4:

    “Add weight. Using a weight vest is ideal way.”

    I love acquiring new gear as much as the next person but my dirtbag roots have me asking if I can accomplish the workouts effectively β€” and/or without introducing any problems β€” using a weighted pack. My training is targeting ski touring.

    What should I be aware of when considering utilizing one of my many packs in the ol’ gear closet, rather than a weighted vest?
