Not everyone has a heated wax room where they are able to wax and scrape skis without concern for wax shavings getting everywhere. in the past I have tried drop cloths but the light wax shavings seem to float around everywhere. So this past weekend I built the “ski coffin”. its a portable box that allows me to wax and scrape inside the house without make a mess. the base on the box are 2 pieces which makes it easier to move around. the vice mounts are very long allowing for wide horizontal adjustment of the vices and supports. I will be adding some contour-cut foam blocks to support the tips and tails of nordic race skis.
