like most people in this forum, I work hard to get into shape for race season and I don’t want my equipment to be a limiting factor. That said, I am also not competing in Worldcup. I’ve been out of Nordic racing for a very long time, and I just starting looking at web stores for nordic racing wax. the number of products available these days was overwhelming: wax, powder, spray, liquid, etc etc. I was thinking I only needed 2 basic products: glide wax in various temps and kick wax in various temps. I already own things like irons, vices, brushes, scrapers for Skimo racing, but I really need some guidance on very basic nordic wax necessities. thanks !

Sounds like you better hike over to my house. I know is a long way but I suspect you can make the 1km trek without needing to bring a GU with you. I’ll give you a rundown and some wax. Like a ski wax clinic. I probably have more wax than you and I will ever need in our lifetime. You can pick up that ex-USST racing suit when you do. My stuff is still in storage but I’ll have it all moved over to the house in a week or so.
