    Was wondering if I can use both the gym and the water carries for ME? How would I work these two in together. I was simple going to use gym one week and the water carries the next but maintaining the 8 to 12 weeks total for the block.

    Just curious is anyone has does this in the past, the truth is I like the water carries because I can be outdoors but the gym ME does have the advantage of not having to be off of work mid week during the daylight hours of winter.

    Yes, I’ve done that with a number of athletes I’ve coached.  I’ve even had a couple of very strong athletes who would do one of each type in each week.  That’s a bit risky and you need to monitor recovery closely.
