    Hello,

I did my heart rate drift test today.  Admittedly I had a hard time keeping my heart rate at the 150 that seemed to make sense for my warm up.  I would jog and then my heart rate would go to 165 and then I would walk and it would go to 130.

My question is in regards to the two methods of calculating the drift percentage.  If I highlight the first half my average heart rate was 151.  Then the second half was 154.  Using the 154/151 technique it looks like the drift was around 2% – meaning my starting heart rate was too low.

If I highlight the entire hour at look at the Pa:Hr is 8.3% – meaning my starting heart rate was too high.

    Which do I trust?

    Thanks!

    Angelique
