During the August “Ask Evoke” podcast episode, Larry Goldie mentioned a study demonstrating the BMR can stay elevated for several days following an ultra endurance event. I think this is a key factor in recovery – making sure we adequately fuel our recovery to match the needs of our elevated BMR.

Does anyone know which study he is referring to? I would like to read the study to find out more about it.
