first skimo race of the season at Wolf Creek in 4 weeks.  I’ll be doing the 1400ft vertical race and the Individual.  we all know how high the intensity is in skimo…. I have a great base and have been trail racing all season.  But with 4 weeks until the opener, I feel like I need some specificity for skiing uphill.  I’m thinking tons of vertical on foot with poles. and some high intensity uphill session, maybe with some weight in my pack?  just looking to sharpen up before the first race. thanks guys
