The Speedgoat 50k is classified as a “graduate level ultra.” Having done this race five times, I can confirm it is a tough one. For that reason, this is an intermediate plan for runners with a few years of experience. Runners should be comfortable with 60 miles a week before starting this plan. Access to a treadmill or mountains are mandatory to have a successful outcome. You will need a heart rate monitor/GPS watch.
